Happy Birthday DAD!!!!

Today is my wonderful dad's birthday. He is wonderful for many many reasons and I love him very very much. Sadly, I won't be able to see him today because he lives in Boston now :( but when I saw him last week I gave him his present, and I'll get to see him in another two weeks when Chris and I make our first trek out East to go visit him and Wendy. So dad, on this absent birthday, I wish you lots and lots of love, I miss you!!!!!!

Chris and I were completely silly Thursday night and we bought a trampoline! :) Inspired by our visit to his aunt's house in Fresno, we decided to make our front room a game/play room. We don't have people over a lot for "nice" dinners, so we have no real need for a "formal dining room," so we had a great big room that we weren't really sure what to do with. So, OF COURSE we got a trampoline! :) We'll get a ping pong table sometime in the future to complete it.

Chris is 6'1" and if he jumps AS HIGH as he can and outstretches his arm he can barely touch the tippy top of the ceiling, so we'll have no bangs on the noggin, so that's good. It's actually great exercise and LOTS of fun (and just a tad silly) so I'm glad we got it :)

Yesterday we spent the day cleaning. All the rooms (and the backyard) have gotten pretty messy and dirty. With ongoing projects everywhere in the house, we hardly ever put tools away because we'll just need them a few hours later. Also, with construction constantly going on, it gets pretty dusty.

We went to the Cal/Maryland game last night, so we didn't quite finish. We'll finish up this morning, and my mom and Clarke are coming over to help clean and set-up for the housewarming party THIS AFTERNOON! (many MILLIONS of thanks to them for coming to help, we wouldn't be able to finish without them!!!!)

So, it's off to clean and then to celebrate, yea!!!!
