My Fabric Came!

Today when I got home from work my box of fabric for the art room was waiting for me, yeay!!!! I decided to go with option two, and I am VERY happy. The pattern on the fabric just made me so happy

AND, I've figured out what to do about my paint......today at work we went out to lunch to celebrate two of the lawyers turning 50 this month. We went to a great restaurant in downtown Berkeley called 5. It was super yummy, a LITTLE pricey (at least to me, remember, I'm cheap), but it's where I would go for a nice dinner. Starters were just below $10, and meals were in the mid-high teens. They had an excellent drink selection too (a decent fun non-alcoholic selection for the non-drinkers as well). ANYWAY, the food was yummy but I was IMMIDIATELY taken by the great stencil they had painted on the walls, I LOVED it. And so I thought "I could have a stencil on my art room walls!" I don't know why I never thought of that before, it seems like such a simple and perfect solution to my neutral dilema. So I think I may go with a darker beige/brown/taupe wall (similar to the darker leaves and vines in the fabric) and a similar metallic shade stenciled over it. Not too heavy, something light and delicate. Not sure what it will be yet, but I am QUITE satisfied with my new paint idea, woo-hoo!
