Mud and Texture
We've been busy worker bees in the front room this past weekend and the last few days. After my shoulder started to feel better I was able to crawl back on the ladder to help Chris finish skim coating the walls. Applying the mud directly overhead still bothered my shoulder a bit, so I concentrated on the walls and Chris worked on the ceiling

Once Chris got the skim coat done on the ceiling and the tippy top of the peaked walls that I couldn't reach/hurt my shoulder...
...he moved on to starting to apply the texture on the already skim coated parts while I worked on completing the last of the skim coat on the walls

Chris is a pro at applying texture to match the existing plaster in the house

And the great news is that he's almost fully complete with the first layer of texture on allllll the walls and ceiling

We're hoping that by the end of the weekend we'll be done with the 2nd layer of texture and ready to get started painting! And my oh my what a daunting task that'll be. Oy vey, the cut-ins...
