Renovation & Romance

That was the title of the article that Bobvila.com wrote about Chris and I yesterday when we were picked as one of three of this year's Blog Stars! Chris and I were SO EXCITED to get to participate in the article this year (last year Miss Kit of DIY Diva was chosen as one of the three). It was a lot of fun getting interviewed and just down right silly to think that Bobvila.com thought to include us. We're in some great company: Sarah Fogle of the Ugly Duckling House and Timothy Dahl of Charles & Hudson (seriously, those are some amazing bloggers so I just about fell off my chair when it got published yesterday and I found out that's who we were included with).

The articles all center around workshops and how you function in your renovating space. Of course, because Chris and I are a couple it was a lot about how we work together. I think Chris and I have gotten our routine and roles as a renovating couple down pretty well: we know what we're each good at and we know when we should each back off. So it was fun to get to share that part of renovating. Plus, we got to take a funny picture (I was just starting to get a little pudgy from Cashew when we took this pic so I thought the zip up would help conceal it...)
