Yesterday morning at 10:11am we welcomed our 20 1/4″, 8lbs 6oz baby girl Merritt Davis Miller to the world
Zoe LOVES her little sister and loved kissing her when she she met her and was very curious as to why she didn’t talk. We’re lucky to have such a good big sister on our hands.
The c section went well and I’m healing a lot better this time around, which is so amazing because my recovery was rough the first time around. The surgeon told us after the surgery she was very happy with our decision to schedule a c section because my uterine muscle was very thin and likely would have torn in conventional labor and resulted in another emergency c section. So we’re even happier with the decision we made.
we’ll be at the hospital with our new lady for another day or so and then we’ll be very excited to make our way home and spend time with both of our girls.
HAPPY TUESDAY!

Congratulations! Gorgeous family, and what an awesome name BOTH your girls have. Looking forward to seeing how her little personality develops and if she is like her sis or completely her own unique self. Zoe is the most awesome little one, but she could be the twin of my now 31 year old at her age, so it is just fun to read your posts about her and know what fun lies ahead for you. Enjoy your time with your family and wishes for a quick and pain free recovery for you.

Congratulations 🙂 She's beautiful and I'm glad you are recovering well. My second C-Section was TONS easier to recover from than my first. Hopefully you'll have the same experience – but DON'T OVER DO IT! (Lecture over)
Snuggle that sweet baby and enjoy this time!
