In 2009 we moved in to Picardy Drive

The first day we were here we ripped down the walls of the kitchen and started tearing things up. 5 months in I started blogging about our adventures as a way to share with friends and family – isn’t that how we all get started?

4+ years in we had Zoe. 6+ years in we had Merritt. And after a little bit more than 7 years spent at our beautiful Picardy House – that named this blog – we moved on to a new house. We loved all we did to renovate the ENTIRE house, but it was time to move on.

It was bittersweet to leave the first house Chris and I called home together. We learned, loved and cried at this house. It has meant so much to us and taught us so much. We could not have been lucky enough with that first adventure of renovating our little Storybook home. And you can read all about those adventures here.
