That Just Looks Like an Oxymoron

March 24, 2011

Or as Marky Mark would say, “I ain’t no Ox Moron.”

Snuggled between the fence and Chris’ bug (the next project after the house, oh in 1, 2, 3 years…) is a might pretty collection of flowers sneaking over from our neighbor’s yard. They’re a beautiful addition to the mess we normally have 🙂

Chris counted nearly 20 of them last week! Thank you neighbors for growing pretty flowers that give a little sparkle to our otherwise struggling backyard!

OMG I'm sooo jealous! Large white callas are my favorite flower. We can grow them here but the bulbs need to planted and unplanted each year or they will freeze. A big paint I haven't attempted yet.

Oh, hello there. We're Chris and Meryl and we're renovating home in Oakland, CA. Chris is the handy, knowledgeable builder and I'm his slightly inappropriate assistant. We've got 2 helpers - Zoe is 2 and Merritt arrived in June of 2015. Spurred by our love of renovating our own home we started a handyman, design and organizing business and now that we're both self employed we're busier than ever, but we love it!
